Hypnotherapy

Due to the work ethic in our present culture, you may have felt a little guilty whenever you relaxed because you thought you were wasting time. The truth is, all of us go in and out of trance states throughout the day, usually referred to as “day dreaming”.
This is an essential part of who we are.

Knowing this, commercial advertisers take advantage of these altered states. Time now to take back the power of our own mental programming.

During hypnosis we create a state of restful awareness during which the critical, rational mind is brought into temporary relaxation.

This makes it possible to focus inwardly so that the rest of the world fades away. Now there is the opportunity to perceive a new reality. Whether we want to work on self esteem, health or personal issues, we are now able to tap into the very best resource available — our own mind.

During hypnotherapy sessions, it is clear from the outset that you are in charge of you own journey. The guide is there to assist your own process.

I use hypnotherapy primarily as a modality on its own. Occasionally, in bodywork treatments, short intervals of positive suggestions can be very effective. During Yoga, the work evolves into guided meditations, helping the student to better receive the benefits of the Yoga practice.
